What are you reading?
I am doing an online reading group with a few friends; the subject is a book on trauma called The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk. I’m almost finished The Secret History by Donna Tartt, and I borrowed a pile of Patricia Highsmith from the library just before the lockdown… which feels appropriate for this current moment.
The first artwork that made an impact on you?
A video work by Tracey Moffatt, Heaven (1997), where she filmed surfers in carparks getting changed out of their wetsuits.
Who is your ideal studio buddy?
My good friend Anh Tran for distraction and juicy conversation.
What images are pinned to your studio wall?
At the moment my walls are covered in pap shots – Jake Gyllenhaal and Kirsten Dunst sharing a salad, Jennifer Aniston in orange cargo pants – alongside my own work for upcoming projects.
