My ART has partnered with the Arts Foundation to endow a Laureate Award. Every year we will recognise an exceptional visual artist from Aotearoa New Zealand with outstanding potential for future growth. My ART is thrilled to be able to congratulate Fiona Clark as the recipient of the 2023 My ART Visual Arts Award.
My ART is a strategic supporter of the Auckland Art Gallery Foundation and Objectspace. We underwrote Objectspace’s impressive new building project, and continue to support the exhibition programme. We also work with McCahon House to support sales of their artist-in-residence edition programme.
A few years ago, My ART underwrote the purchase of a significant artwork (Cerith Wyn Evans, Things are Conspicuous in Their Absence, 2012) by Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū Foundation to mark the retirement of CAG’s long-standing director, Jenny Harper.
Further to this, we regularly partner with the Auckland Art Fair and Artweek Auckland, in an effort to support and celebrate a healthy and vibrant art scene.
